Deputy editor Coasts out of Bulletin

JOHN Affleck, deputy editor of the Gold Coast Bulletin, has left the paper he joined in 1981 and edited in the 1990s, his paper reported.

Ken Robinson, previously night editor, assumes the role.

Mr Affleck’s departure comes at the same time as that of editor-in-chief Bob Gordon, whose legendary tale and penchant for bringing through talented young editors is explored in the upcoming July edition of the PANPA Bulletin industry newspaper.

The PANPA Bulletin will hit desks this week.
